Finding Our Bearings with Everything Shifting Beneath Us

While I was busy with my life, as you are every day, something peculiar became unavoidable. to me. Doesn’t it feel that the world around us is devolving more rapidly every day? 

What Country IS This?

The chaos of the opposition to the Trump Administration was supposed to end with the installation of Joe Biden as president.  Where is that tranquility they promised? Well, we expected the Democrats and the extreme zealots they emboldened to make our lives miserable, but we had the Republicans to mitigate the destruction… Right? Those supposed stalwarts of conservatism went along with every Democrat agenda item.  More and more money, on top of the humongous payouts from the pandemic relief funds, was only the beginning.  Republicans had leverage with the government funding bills, but alas, they just gave in without a fight; They couldn’t let the Democrats stop bludgeoning everyone’s cash flow.  The Border is wide open, and when confronted, our leaders lie to Congress despite proof of their deliberate malfeasance.  Republican neocons promote the neoliberal war that Biden created in Ukraine despite the MAGA doctrine. Promoting medical insanity is the new government priority and a cultural menace. Crimes are proven, and there are no consequences to the criminals, but the innocent are aggressively and illegally prosecuted.  Judges flout the constitution. And we are perplexed.

Huh?

Many news organizations we had considered bastions of fact and common sense suddenly offer woke revisionist takes.   Barrack Obama didn’t change the country enough, according to loud liberals, and their conservative counterparts disceredit Reaganomics and fiscal responsibility as establishment elitism.  What is going on? 

These problems did not happen overnight.  The frenzy of the Democrats is a separate issue from the disarray and disunity of the Republicans.   It is quite confusing, and perhaps you’re disoriented.    You might fear what they have planned.

Answer Quest

I, too, have been distressed over the bizarre realignments of, and abandonment from, our conservative public figures. THey are worse than the Democrats.  The Dems are only staying consistent with their tactics.  Republican complicity is another matter altogether.  I pondered these issues and will share with you what is behind the disaster.   You will not find it laid out as directly and directionally from your usual sources.  I know because  I searched far and wide in frustration. I had to go deep with my missive from the founding of this blog, “THINK FOR YOURSELF! “

We will be investigating the Democrats’ purposeful malfeasance, as well as the fruition of their long-game plans.  A thorough and multifaceted examination of the Trump effect and the raging national divide is necessary since the next election is a referendum on former president  Trump more than on the comatose-in-chief, er, commander-in-chief, president Biden.  It is also the axis of the convulsion of the Republican party.  Most surprising will be my exposé of the golden boy of conservative media.  We move to the election and the probable future when we have established the broad range of factors involved.  A few random topics might appear, just to release some of the angst.

Perigination

We will uncover some disconcerting facts, and the revelations will anger you.  Some of you will be offended because your presuppositions will be debunked.  No one welcomes the messenger. I have to carry on, in any case.  Others among you might become disheartened. I’m with you.  We must understand what we are up against to survive and thrive.   This isn’t where the adventure was going when it started, but one has to adjust the boat’s sails to the wind.  I will ride out the storm and invite you to keep sailing with me.
